Post-Irma Donation Drive for Tybee Island Residents on Oct. 14

Wilmington Island Farmers’ Market to Hold Post-Irma

Donation Drive for Tybee Island Residents on Oct. 14

The Wilmington Island Farmers' Market will hold a donation drive for Tybee Island residents and business owners who are still trying to rebuild following Hurricane Irma. Items being collected include non-perishable food, paper products and gift cards to any store in $25 increments. The market will operate on a normal schedule and offer its customary variety of delicious food, including gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches from The Big Cheese food truck, and handcrafted items for purchase from local vendors. On the main stage, New Yoga Now will offer a family yoga class, and later in the day, children can take part in the kick off of our new series: Fall into Kids Cooking. The popular Chubby Cheeks Body Art artists will be back for more face painting fun, and the Wilmington Island Presbyterian Preschool will visit the market for story time. Plenty of parking is available on-site. This event is free and open to the public.
