If you eat on the run or in the car, you may need a DIPCLIP

If some of your meals are eaten on-the-run in the front seat of your car you probably know what it’s like to have ketchup or dipping sauce land on your center console or, worse, on your lap. But now there’s a solution to this horrific problem: the DipClip. The gadget, which has already raised $40,000 on Kickstarter, is similar to one of those cellphone mounts that slides into your car’s air flow vent. But instead of hanging on to your phone the DipClip provides a cradle in which to set your honey mustard nugget sauce. The “universal mount” that can latch on to any car’s air vent. The company says it’s been tested for McDonald’s, Burger King, Chick-fil-A, Wendy’s, KFC, Dairy Queen, Jack in the Box, Arby’s, Popeye’s, Sonic, Carl’s Jr., Hardee’s, and Heinz packets. As for those little ketchup packets you get with your hash browns, you can just squirt that into the plastic ramekin that comes with the Clip. So far, you can only get a DipClip if you donate to the company’s Kickstarter campaign — get two clips for $15 — and no word yet on when they’re shipping
