JIMMY KIMMEL BRINGS SON ONSTAGE IN HEALTH CARE PLEA

Late Show host Jimmy Kimmel teared up on Monday as he held his son Billy and begged Congress not to cut the health insurance program that covers kids. Kimmel said, “I was out last week — because this guy had heart surgery. But look he’s fine, everybody....He may have pooped but he’s fine,” adding that “Daddy cries on TV but Billy doesn’t… it’s unbelievable.” Kimmel went on to urge viewers to call the Senate and the House to save the Children’s Health Insurance Program, aka CHIP, after its funding expired in September. Baby Billy was born with a congenital heart disease and Kimmel has shared his 7-month-old’s health crises with viewers and politicians in a bid to not roll back Obamacare.
