WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM EST TUESDAY... * 


WHAT... Very cold wind chills expected tonight, including during the morning commute on Tuesday. Expect wind chills to range from 20 above zero to 10 above zero. 

* WHERE...In South Carolina, Beaufort, Coastal Colleton and Coastal Jasper counties. In Georgia, Coastal Bryan and Coastal Chatham Counties. 

* WHEN...For the Wind Chill Advisory, from 7 PM this evening to 9 AM EST Tuesday. * 

ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and gloves.
