Weather Broadcaster doesn't want to hear complaints about her outfits

Philadelphia anchor Cecily Tynan tells viewers they should keep their opinions about her outfits to themselves.

“I was taken aback by a post from a viewer complaining that the outfit I was wearing was “unprofessional.”A sweater, slacks & boots on a cold, winter day is unprofessional?!” she says.

Tynan, who is an institution in Philadelphia, said that she’s been forecasting the weather for close to 23 years and that outfit choices are not her top priority.

“I’m much more concerned with my forecast than my wardrobe. But, of course, this is TV. It’s visual. So, I do my best to look “professional” every single day. But, you can’t please 100% of viewers 100% of the time. So, if you don’t like what I’m wearing any particular day, please follow the rule I teach my children: “If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”

Do you agree? Is it any of your business as to what she wears as long as it's not in truly bad taste?
