SNOWBALL VENDING MACHINE WAS CREATED FOR SUPER BOWL ATTENDEES

A Minnesota ad agency created a snowball vending machine to promote the state. The vending machine was set up about 15-minutes away from the site of Super Bowl 52. Each snowball was hand-packed and placed inside a customized canister that proudly displayed the exact date of its creation. The Chief Creative Officer for the ad agency (Space150) explained: “Ultimately we were looking to find something that celebrates the region and that celebrates the fact that six or seven months out of the year here it’s pretty cold and there’s something cool about that. There’s a pride in our tundra.”

Snowballs were sold for $1, with all funds going to Wilderness Inquiry, a Minnesota-based nonprofit that helps kids from urban areas explore the great outdoors.
