Meet Paws, a Minnesota cat with 28 toes

Sometimes cats have extra toes, and they're called polydactyl! Now a cat in Minnesota has tied the Guinness World Record for having the most toes. Jeanne Martin of Northfield said the cat, named Paws, has a total of 28 toes-- three extras toes on each front paw, and three extra on each back paw. Cats normally have 18 toes in total. The cat's owner, Jeanne Martin of Northfield, says the cat was rescued from a maple syrup farm, and the animal's extra toes make it good at balancing on extremely narrow surfaces.
