Dog foods with a dangerous drug are being recalled

At least 31 brands of dog food have been pulled from shelves nationwide amid a recall after an investigation found they contained the euthanasia drug pentobarbital. Smucker's, which owns almost all of the brands, announced the voluntary recall of products including Gravy Train, Kibbles 'N Bits, Skippy and Ol' Roy brands of canned food days after lab tests were released as part of the investigation by Washington, D.C., station ABC7. The levels of the drug found weren't lethal, but it's not allowed at any level under federal law.
