PRISONERS SAVE GUARD'S LIFE

A 52-year-old former Texas jail guard still becomes emotional when he thinks about how several prisoners helped save his life. Gary Grimm was guarding prisoners in a basement holding cell when he suffered a massive heart attack. The inmates made a ruckus by banging on the cell walls and yelling, which was enough to draw the attention of the other guards. Grimm said he will undergo open heart surgery, and is alive thanks to the inmates who didn't take advantage of his incapacity.
