Amnesty boxes at Las Vegas Airport to dispose of unused marijuana

Now that recreational use of marijuana is legal in Nevada, green metal bins called "amnesty boxes" have been set up at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas so tourists can drop off any leftover pot they have to prevent it being found on them during security screenings. The amnesty boxes are bolted to the ground and designed so that marijuana -- and prescription drugs too -- can only be dropped in, not taken out. Recreational use of marijuana has been legal in Nevada since last July.
