It's bad enough that someone passed a stopped school bus...but it's worse that it was a school superintendent...AND it happened during school bus safety week!
Authorities say a Florida school superintendent was pulled over for illegally passing a school bus. To make matter worse, the incident took place as police were running a bus safety campaign. Florida Today reports Brevard Public School Superintendent Desmond Blackburn was driving his district-issued SUV the morning of March 27th when he was stopped and given a warning by Melbourne police. Blackburn acknowledged he was one of the drivers that needed a safety reminder, and thanked police for their work with the campaign.
