The Post Office has announced something new and fun that might make you want to send some snail mail again, revealing yesterday (May 21st) that it will be issuing its first-ever scratch-and-sniff stamps. The U.S. Postal Service said the stamps are meant to evoke the scent of summer, with 10 different designs that each feature two different ice pops on a stick. There will be one scent for all the stamps, but it's not being revealed until they are issued on June 20th. There might be a hint somewhere in the press release, however, which mentions several different flavors, saying: "In recent years, frozen treats containing fresh fruit such as kiwi, watermelon, blueberries, oranges and strawberries have become more common. In addition, flavors such as chocolate, root beer and cola are also popular."
