Working at Home Depot may be risky but you wouldn't think a monkey bite would be on your radar, but a Florida employee was repeatedly bitten and scratched by a spider monkey that escaped from its owner's car in the parking lot. The Sheriff's office says in happened last Monday--the owner left the monkey in the car while she shipped but he managed to get out. The worker said he seemed friendly initially but clearly it didn't like strangers. She was treated by paramedics at the scene and the moneky has been turned over to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
