A 29-year-old FBI agent who accidentally shot a man in the leg when he did a backflip while dancing in a Denver bar is now facing a second-degree assault charge. Chase Bishop turned himself in and was arrested yesterday (June 12th) and could face additional charges based on the still pending results of blood alcohol analysis. Video of the June 2nd incident went viral, showing Bishop doing the backflip on the bar's dance floor, the gun hitting the floor and then going off. He then immediately put the gun in his waistband and walked away. The man who was hit is expected to make a full recovery. Bishop was not on duty at the time of the incident.
