Double amputee climbs Pike's Peak

A double leg amputee collapsed as she reached the top of Pikes Peak nearly 14,115 feet above sea level. Mandy Horvath climbed a total of 74 hours to accomplish the unthinkable summiting one of Colorado’s famed peaks. Horvath is also the first female double amputee to ascend the famed Manitou Incline – a trail that climbs 2,000 feet in less than a mile.
