Little dog evades capture running loose on a Seattle freeway

How many times have I gotten calls or emails about a dog running loose on a busy Savannah or Lowcountry highway?

Dogs like to play, but one really wanted to play on a highway and evaded capture in Seattle. Traffic cameras caught video of the small dog running loose on the roadway, evading police and bystanders. The Washington State Department of Transportation said the dog was spotted Monday morning (July 2nd) on the shoulder of State Route 520, running eastbound along the floating bridge. The video shows police and bystanders chasing the animal, which fled into some bushes. The canine was eventually captured and taken to Seattle Animal Shelter. Officials are now trying to find the dog's owner. Whew!!
