A California nurse who helped care for a premature baby 28 years ago got to reunite with him, discovering that he's now a doctor in the same hospital where he was born. Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital wrote about it in a Facebook post, saying that nurse Vilma Wong recognized pediatric resident Brandon Seminatore's name when he was performing rounds at the San Jose hospital. He told her that he was born prematurely at the same hospital, and when she thought she remembered the name and asked if his father was a police officer, Wong said, "There was a big silence. Then he asked if I was Vilma." Seminatore spent 40 days in the neonatal ICU after being born at 29 weeks weighing just over two pounds
