Bombshell: White House Counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway revealed during a CNN interview yesterday (September 30th) that she'd been a victim of sexual assault. Conway was speaking about the sexual misconduct allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh when she told host Jake Tapper, "I feel very empathetic, frankly, for victims of sexual assault and sexual harassment and rape. I’m a victim of sexual assault." She continued, "I don’t expect Judge Kavanaugh or Jake Tapper or [Senator] Jeff Flake or anybody to be held responsible for that. You have to be responsible for your own conduct." Conway had previously said in December that she'd had her own #MeToo moment, but charged that, quote, "no one cared" when she talked about her own experience because of her politics.
