Soldier Whose House Was Looted Gives Away Money Raised for Him

An Army medic returned home from helping others during Hurricane Florence to find his home looted and some of his family's most valued possessions stolen. Luis Ocampo was stunned when a fundraiser started in his name raised nearly $15,000. Although thankful for the generosity, the money was way more than Ocampo and his girlfriend needed. The couple decided to pay the money forward to the Soldiers and Airmen Assistance Fund and a soldier who began living in a hotel after a tree fell on his house during the hurricane.
