Anyone in New Orleans who wants to watch Super Bowl 53 Sunday (February 3rd) between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams at a bar in the city may have a hard time finding one where it's being shown. Saints fans still fuming over the non-call of a blatant penalty late in the team's NFC Championship loss to the Rams that likely cost them the win and a ticket to the Super Bowl are planning to boycott the game and hold anti-Super Bowl parties instead, according to USA Today . Many sports bars in New Orleans will instead re-air Super Bowl 44 from nine years ago when the Saints beat the Indianapolis Colts, or show the Puppy Bowl or just stay closed. Restaurants and bars are also planning alternatives, like day-long happy hours, $1 beers, potlucks and costume parties, and there's even a Boycott Bowl music festival and block party being held featuring local musicians, chefs and bartenders
