New York Subway Service impacted by a goose on the tracks.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority in New York City says a goose was spotted on the tracks in Brooklyn on Monday afternoon, which caused the Q trains to skip multiple stops in order to avoid the bird. The MTA shut off power to the tracks to keep the bird safe, and it eventually made its way south to the Church Avenue subway stop. The New York Police Department was summoned to the scene and officers carried the bird gently up the subway steps and loaded into a van, where NYPD officers said it would be transported to the ASPCA. The goose’s feathers were a bit ruffled, but it appeared calm.
