Maddie Jones and Alex Sung went for dinner and when their waitress found out the couple had been engaged for a year she said, “I have had a crazy idea, why don’t you get married today?”
But it wasn’t completely spontaneous because a friend of the couple had seen a Facebook post by the pizza place offering to host a wedding. The friend shared that Maddie and Alex were coming for a bite in a few days and the wheels were set in motion.
After the couple agreed to be married it was revealed that family and friends were already on their way. Within hours PizzaExpress transformed into a wedding venue for 30, gave Maddie a choice of 16 dresses, and gave Alex a haircut and tuxedo. After the “I DOs” everyone stuck around for pizza, naturally. Now Maddie and Alex will enjoy and all-expenses-paid trip to Italy.
