A new featurette including footage from the upcomingElton Johnbiopic,Rocketman, has been released. The clips show scenes from the film featuringTaron Egertonas Elton as well as in the recording studio with the soundtrack's producerGiles Martin-- son of theBeatles' legendary producerGeorge Martin.
Rocketman, which was written byLee Halland directed byDexter Fletcher, opens on May 31st, 2018. Back in 2011, when the film was first announcedDeadline.composted: "(Rocketmanis) a biographical musical fantasy that will weave together Elton's life and his music. The film will be and unconventional film take on Elton's story, including choreographed sequences using Elton's biggest hit songs. Those tunes will be part of the movie package and will drive a story that will cover the rough spots in Elton's journey of self-discovery."
