Is Kelly Clarkson turning country?

Not really...

Kelly received a nomination from the Academy of Country Music Awards, which will be presented in Las Vegas in April.

Kelly is up for Music Event of the Year for “Keeping Score,” a collaboration she recorded with country duoDan + Shay. The duo is one of this year’s leading ACM nominees, with six nods in all.

Also nominated: Bebe Rexha and Taylor Swift.

Bebe is nominated for Single of the Year, Song of the Year and Music Event of the Year for “Meant to Be,” her smash collaboration with Florida Georgia Line. It was a huge pop hit, but it also spent 50 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s country chart.

Taylor is up for Video of the Year for “Babe,” her collaboration with Sugarland. Not only does she sing on the track, but she also co-stars in the video, along with Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles
