People in St. Louis slicing bagels like loaves of bread? What gives? Watch!

People tend to shy away from things that are different. Twitter users Alek Krautmann tweeted out a photo this week that showed Panera bagels sliced vertically-- like loaves of bread. He captioned his photo with, "Today I introduced my coworkers to the St. Louis secret of ordering bagels bread sliced. It was a hit!" Twitter didn't like it, however. One person tweeted, "As an avid defender of St. Louis but a resident of NYC...this is horrible where is your respect for the bagels?!" Another wrote, "St. Louis: We slice bagels. We roll pizza into balls. Steaks go in a blender." Others called it a crime and demanded Krautmann apologize. Author James Patterson even joked that the tweet would serve as inspiration for his next true crime novel. Here is the tweet that started it all...
