A Houston woman noticed that the physician’s name appearing on two prescriptions wasn’t right. The doctor was listed as Dr. Dummy Dummy. Trudie Cole noticed the error when she checked if her prescriptions were ready for pick-up on her CVS app. Her doctor’s name, Mansoora Sheikh, has been printed correctly in the past. Trudie says she was “outraged.” CVS explains that they weren’t insulting her doctor; they are testing new software and used the word ‘dummy’ as a dummy name on test account. Somehow her prescription account was mixed up with a dummy account.
