UPDATE!

An Auburn University gymnast's tumbling career ended on a very low note on Friday night when she reportedly broke both legs and dislocated both knees when she landed wrong during a floor routine. Samantha Cerio is a senior on the team. She was making her first pass during her floor routine at the Baton Rouge Regional when she attempted a handspring double front but fell to the mat and screamed out in pain.

Apparently she didn't break her legs however she did dislocate both knees and torn ligaments and soft tissue.

The college gymnast who dislocated both of her knees in a gruesome scene during a competition has had successful surgery.Auburn senior Samantha Cerio's surgery took place Monday and lasted more than two hours

She did get a nice message from Auburn graduate Charles Barkley! And we also have an update from her coach below....
