An American Airlines flight attendant lived the nightmare of screwing up in front of her boss last week, and not just any boss, but the airline's CEO. Maddie Peters told NBC News that she and her colleagues had been warned that American CEO Doug Parker would be on their flight from Phoenix to Dallas and that they had to be on their best behavior. But when a passenger Peters was following down the aisle suddenly stopped and stepped back into her, it sent Peters' tray flying, dumping the drinks on Parker. The 28-year-old wrote about it on Instagram, saying, "I WAS MORTIFIED. I wanted to drop dead right there in the aisle. . . . Luckily he was super cool, and a good sport about it." Parker went to the galley later to see if Peters was okay, and when she asked him if she was fired, he said, "Of course not." Peters also said that as the CEO was getting off the plane, he said he'd never forget her," and she wrote, "Guess that's a good thing, right?
