A California chef has served three million meals in his fight against hunger. Fourteen years ago, Chef Bruno Serato cooked a meal for a first-grader whose dinner was just potato chips. Wanting to help other underserved kids facing food insecurity, Serato founded a nonprofit, Caterina's Club, with the goal of feeding as many hungry kids as possible. Last Thursday (April 11th), Serato served his nonprofit's three millionth meal, with a special guest on hand: a boy named Billy Saldana, who was one of the first kids to dine through Caterina's Club.
