When a serious food craving hits, what do you do? Five-year-old Iziah Hall was at his home in Wyoming, Michigan on Sunday (April 21st) when he started craving McDonald's, but his grandmother was fast asleep. So he grabbed an old phone that had been deactivated for years and called the only number he could-- 9-1-1. The dispatcher contacted Wyoming police who sent a police officer to check on the boy. The officer also picked up some McDonald's on his way over. The grandmother said she and Iziah were grateful, but the officer also advised the boy about using 9-1-1 for emergencies only.
