Zonta Club of Beaufort working to get a service dog for a female Marine Vet

The Zonta Club of Beaufort is participating in their CAMPAIGN OF THE CENTURY as part of Zonta's centennial this year.

They are working to raise money to sponsor a service dog for a Woman Marine Veteran thru K9s for Warriors. They are the nation's largest provider of Service Dogs for veterans struggling with PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury and Military Sexual Trauma. In addition to helping the veteran, roughly 90% of the service dogs come from high-kill shelters or are owner surrendered.Instead of a life of abandonment or euthanasia, they are given a purpose. Two lives are saved; the dog is rescued and the dog rescues the warrior with a “New Leash on Life”.The sponsorship is $20,000. Donations are tax deductible. Their Tax # is 27-5219467.

If you have a soft spot for our veterans and saving doomed dogs, you can help. Your donation may be mailed to Zonta in care of Pat Green: 120 South Hermitage Road, Beaufort, SC 29902 OR to the Zonta Club of Beaufort, P. O. Box 2234, Beaufort, SC 29901.

If you want to see what an incredible gift these dogs are, just watch this video (his service dog Captain by the way is from South Carolina):
