UPDATE! He asks the public to attend his El Paso wife's funeral.

An El Paso, Texas, man whose wife was killed in last week’s mass shooting in the city has invited the public to her funeral. In a Facebook post, Perches Funeral Home wrote that Antonio Basco was hoping as many people would attend the funeral as possible, noting the couple had no living family members. The funeral home posted: “Mr. Antonio Basco was Married for 22yrs to his wife Margie Reckard, He had no other family. He welcomes anyone to attend his Wife’s services.” The funeral is scheduled for Friday afternoon. More here: https://youtu.be/JONX7FSMA-M

UPDATE: The response has been so great to an El Paso man’s public invitation to the funeral for his 63-year-old wife who died in the Walmart shooting, that officials said the services were being moved to a larger venue to accommodate the anticipated crowd. Antonio Basco said his wife of more than two decades, Marjorie Reckard, had been his only living relative. As a result, he had welcomed “anyone to attend his wife’s services” today (Friday) and hundreds of people were expected to attend. See the Facebook post above...
