While visiting Kalaloch Beach in Washington, 18-year-old Ethan Borngrebe was injured when a large piece of rock fell on him, and with no cell service, his family couldn’t call for help.
A visiting tourist from the Czech Republic, Jacob, stepped in to stabilize the situation, keeping the family calm and ensuring Ethan stayed safe until rescue crews arrived.
His quick thinking and steady presence helped get Ethan safely to a helicopter and, for the family, it turned a frightening ordeal into a story of kindness from a stranger.
