WalletHub has just come out with their ranking of the Most Fun States in America in 2025.
They rated each state on 26 key indicators of a good time in the areas of entertainment & recreation, and nightlife. These include everything from restaurants, golf courses and movie theaters per capita to the average price of beer and wine, accessibility of national parks and nightlife options.
California is this year’s Most Fun State, landing at number one for entertainment & recreation and coming in third for nightlife.

GA and SC didn't make the top 19, Georgia came in at 18 and South Carolina scored the 21st slot.
