Last week, 22-year-old Troy Plemons rescued a woman trapped in a sinking SUV after floodwaters rose around her. He tried with a rope and when that didn't do the trick, he smashed the vehicle’s windows, pulled her out just before the car submerged, and helped her recover in his work truck.
The woman and her family later expressed their gratitude and Plemons credits faith and timing for putting him in the right place at the right time.
