According to a study by Fletch pet insurance, the Labrador retriever has reclaimed the top spot as America's most popular dog breed. The chihuahua, last year's frontrunner, has fallen to second place. Rounding out the top 10 most owned dog breeds are the golden retriever, American pit bull terrier, German shepherd, French bulldog, Goldendoodle, shih tzu, Yorkshire terrier, and dachshund.
