First Responders Became Kangaroo Wranglers!

First responders got an unexpected call in Waco, Texas last week. The job was to save two kangaroos. The kangaroos were at the Waco Wildlife Rescue when an employee accidentally left several gates open. That mistake led to an experience the officers say they will never forget. It was total chaos, as the kangaroos bounced, leaped and ran from them. One officer called it “hilarious but super cool.” Eventually, the officers were able to wrangle them and bring the kangaroos back to the center. That rehab center says they help care for and rehabilitate around 800 injured and orphaned animals every year.
