Teen Defies All Odds To Becomes Eagle Scout

Stacy Mitchell II of Cedar Hill, Texas, has lived with a rare genetic disorder that caused him to lose the ability to walk at age 12 and was recently diagnosed with brain cancer.

Despite these challenges, he stayed committed to his dream of becoming an Eagle Scout, leading a service project that improved accessibility at a local church while undergoing treatment.

He recently achieved his goal of earning the Eagle Scout badge and he hopes his story of perseverance will inspire others not to give up.
