Deputies in Harris County, Texas, pulled a man over earlier this month because the plates on his car didn’t match the vehicle.
During the stop, deputies learned the suspect was in the middle of an Uber Eats delivery. Rather than let the food go undelivered, The deputy stepped in to complete the order. The customer who opened the door to find a police officer holding their meal was understandably surprised.
The department said of the incident, “Great work by our deputies for not only enforcing the law but also going the extra mile for our community!”
