Hero Nurse Jumps Fence To Save Runner Who Collapsed During Marathon

At the Akron Marathon on Saturday, a runner collapsed near the finish line and was saved by quick action from nurse practitioner Dan Molnar, along with firefighters and medical staff.

Molnar performed CPR for several minutes, reviving the man’s pulse twice before he became alert and was taken to the hospital.

Officials and the runner’s family later expressed deep gratitude to the responders and volunteers whose efforts helped save his life.
