AT&T Technicians Replace Flagpole Honoring Customer’s Late Husband

In Colton, California, a simple service call turned into something much bigger for AT&T customer Tani Robinson. Technicians visiting her home noticed her broken flagpole — a pole she’d installed in honor of her late husband and their family’s military ties.

Technician Jorge Garcia didn’t want to leave it that way. He submitted the idea through AT&T’s ‘Act of Kindness’ program, and just days later, he and several coworkers returned with a brand‑new flagpole. They poured the concrete, set it in place, and restored the flag display that meant so much to Robinson.

She says she’s grateful for the gesture, and Garcia says her kindness inspired the team to help.
