Beaufort County Cancelations and closings ahead of tropical storm Nicole

*County Convenience Centers to Close Thursday ahead of the tropical storm and will remain closed Friday in honor of Veterans Day*

All County Offices including Convenience Centers to close Thursday in preparation for tropical storm Nicole.

All Beaufort County buildings and programs will be closed Thursday in advance of the impending tropical storm. Beaufort County schools will be closed but will implement e-learning services. Emergency services will remain available throughout. 

Convenience Centers will be closed tomorrow in preparation of the storm. Convenience Centers will remain closed Friday in honor of Veterans Day.

County Parks and Recreation programs will be canceled Thursday and remain closed Friday in honor of Veterans Day.

Hilton Head Island Airport and Beaufort Executive Airport are operating normally at this time, however as Tropical Storm Nicole approaches, travelers need to check with their carriers for any possible flight delays and cancellations.

Friday's Veterans Day Parade has been canceled in advance of Tropical Storm Nicole.

Beaufort County has canceled the Veterans parade but want to remind citizens to say thank you to our Veterans on Friday. The parade will not be rescheduled. Around August of 2023 start looking for the information on the 2023 Veterans Day Parade.

In observance of the Veterans Day holiday, all Beaufort County government buildings will remain closed Friday, November 11. 

Convenience Centers in Beaufort County will remain closed Friday, November 11, and will resume their regular schedules Saturday, November 12.

Operations at the Hilton Head Island Airport and Beaufort Executive Airport will remain available during the holiday.

Emergency services and law enforcement personnel will remain available.
