Jennie-O Opening Turkey Hotline Next Month to Give You Thanksgiving Advice

With Thanksgiving coming up, it's never too early to get started on your dinner menu and get any non-perishable items from the grocery store you may need. Of course the holiday is all about the main dish, the turkey. If you aren't too sure about how to prepare it to perfection, Jennie-O is once again offering a Turkey hotline for the holiday.

Jennie-O has been offering its turkey hotline for 13 years straight and anyone who needs some extra help cooking their bird can call 1-800-TURKEYS to talk to an expert about how to best prepare their food. The Jennie-O website will also have a live chat option, and for the first time ever you can text Turkey to 73879 to get advice via text message.

The hotlines all open on November 2 so you can get a head start on your Thanksgiving plans and even have time to practice briningfrying, or baking a turkey before the big day. Later next month on November 19, well known chefs and social media influencers will be on the line to offer guidance, but that list of people is top secret as of right now so you'll just have to call in to see who's on the other end.

Jennie-O is one of the leading turkey brands that wants to give you the best products possible and advice that will help you cook is perfectly too. Vice president of marketing at Jennie-O, Nicole Behne, said in a press release that this year it's especially important to make a good holiday meal.

"In a year when family bonds and giving thanks are more important than ever, we are thrilled to help make Thanksgiving meals entertaining, flavorful and easy. No matter where you are or who you're with this season, Jennie-O is here to answer your questions and help make your Thanksgiving meal a success," she said.

Along with the hotline, Jennie-O offers a turkey tracker so you can see where your fresh or frozen Jennie-O turkey came from.
