A bobcat who escaped from its enclosure at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, D.C., on Monday (January 30th) was found on Wednesday in another section of the zoo, not long after the official search was called off. It turned out Ollie had never left the zoo. Ollie was caught after zoo staff acting on a tip set up a trap with goodies for the bobcat near the bird house. Ollie's enclosure is being readied for her, while zookeepers were working on how to increase security so that the bobcat doesn't escape again. Ollie only suffered a small cut on her front left paw from her adventure.
