A fisherman has snagged himself a giant prawn while fishing off the north coast of Australia. The leader prawn was caught by keen fisherman Alex White. A photo posted on social media shows a woman holding the impressive catch, which is almost as long as her arm
It was gotten alot of comments on social media:
'Like to have that on my dinner plate,' said one hungry Facebook user.
'Now that's what I call a prawn,' said another.
Leader prawns are also known as giant tiger prawns.
Females can reach about 33 centimetres in length and can weigh up to 300 grams.
They are commonly found off the north coast of Australia.
