IT'S TRUE! DELTA AIRLINES BRINGING BACK MEALS FOR COACH PASSENGERS

Most airlines got rid of free meals for coach passengers on domestic flights during the Great Recession, but Delta announced this week that it's bringing them back on some of the longer cross-country flights starting next month. It will be introduced first on flights from New York to Los Angeles and San Francisco, and then expand to 10 more markets beginning in late April. On morning flights, passengers will have the option of either a honey maple breakfast sandwich, a "breakfast medley," or fruit and cheese plate. On day flights, the choice will be between a mesquite-smoked turkey combo, a Mediterranean whole grain veggie wrap, or a fruit and cheese plate. And during night flights, passengers will get a breakfast bar before boarding.
