Arnold Schwarzenegger is opening up about his relationship with President Donald Trump.
Asked on The Michael Smerconish Program Tuesday why Trump seems to be so eager to chat about him on Twitter, the former Terminator said: "I think he's in love with me." Needless to say, the feeling is not mutual. Their ongoing feud came to a head when Schwarzenegger quit his job as host of The Celebrity Apprentice on Friday. Schwarzenegger said at the time: "I loved every second of working with NBC and Mark Burnett... I would absolutely work with all of them again on a show that doesn't have this baggage." The so-called baggage, of course, is Trump. The president previously hosted The Celebrity Apprentice and maintains his executive producer credit. Putting aside his busy schedule, Trump took to Twitter, writing: "Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't voluntarily leaving the Apprentice, he was fired by his bad (pathetic) ratings, not by me. Sad end to great show.” The duo have been trading jabs for months, with Schwarzenegger even discussing the time he wanted to fly to New York and "smash his face into the table."
