A nine-year-old Washington state boy saved his mother's life by disobeying her. Kimberly Smith was watching her kids when she started having chest pains and trouble breathing. Smith wanted to lay down, but her son Camdyn knew better. The fourth grader insisted that his mother go to the hospital and even put on his shoes and jacket. Smith finally relented and her decision saved her life. An initial visit to the doctor led to a frantic hospital visit, where emergency room doctors discovered she was suffering from pulmonary embolisms, with both lungs full of blood clots. Smith is now resting at home after spending seven days in the hospital and she feels lucky she listened to her son
