Russia has made it illegal to distribute a so-called "gay clown" image of President Vladimir Putin that shows him with lipstick, eye shadow and false eyelashes. The image has been put in a registry of "extremist materials," and anyone who distributes, retweets or shares it could be sentenced to 15 days in prison or forced to pay a $53 fine.
