Canada has learned from America's mistake: It's illegal to remove a passenger from an overbooked flight

Canada’s looked south to the U.S. for examples of what NOT to do when flights are overbooked — and has decided to do something about it. The country’s transportation minster has announced that no one who has bought a ticket for a domestic or international flight in Canada will be allowed to be removed because of overbooking.
